Our Process

Before we get started, please familiarize yourself with our design process. In order to keep things neat and efficient we try to adhere to the process we have developed over many years of trial and error. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask!

 

Define

  • Provide construction plans if available

  • Initial consultation in showroom (no charge)

    • Discuss design and layout

    • Discuss preliminary style and material selections

    • Discuss lighting options

    • Discuss budget and project timelines

  • Initial rough cost proposal provided

Refine

  • Design fee deposit taken -10% (included in final cost)

  • On-site measure and meeting 

  • Make design selections (not final)

  • 2nd Showroom visit

    • Look at 3D design drawings

    • Revise design and layout

    • Go over cost estimate

Order

  • Finalize cabinet selections

  • Submit appliance specifications

  • Submit plumbing specifications

  • Finalize hardware, lighting and accessory selections

  • Revise estimate

  • Sign selection agreement

  • Submit 50% deposit to order cabinetry

  • Order cabinetry

Install

Delivery & install date established

  • Cabinets are delivered 

  • Submit 40% payment when delivered

  • Installation begins 

  • Installation ends

  • Quality Control walkthrough

  • Punch list created

 
 

Initial stages - no charge

  • Client provides dimensions and photos or, professional measure provided for $500

  • 60 Min initial consultation in studio

    • Discuss preliminary style and material selections

    • Discuss budget and project timelines

  • Initial cost estimate provided

Design - 10% retainer

  • On site measure (if available)

  • Client to provide appliance specifications and plumbing schedule

  • 2nd studio meeting

    • Look at 3D drawings

    • Revise design, layout, and material selections

  • Finalize material selections

  • Revise estimate

  • 2nd on-site measure

  • Provide final drawings and renders

Order - 50% deposit

  • Final cost proposal submitted and approved

  • Final drawings, disclaimers, and respective forms approved

  • Cabinet order is submitted to manufacturing

  • Estimated delivery timeframe established

Delivery & Instalation - final 40% payment

  • Cabinetry delivered to logistics warehouse

  • Delivery to climate controlled jobsite

  • Final 40% payment received

  • Cabinetry installation initiated

  • Quality control walkthrough - final punchlist

Our initial consultation and estimate is intended to provide a rough cost estimate for the project. This does not include design services, 3D renders or drawings, nor does it involve field measures. If design services are required at this point, a $2000 retainer is taken.

 

After collecting a retainer, our collaborative design process begins. The retainer cost will be applied toward the cabinetry and includes (2) design revisions. Further revisions will be billed unless designer elected .The retainer is considered non-refundable, however if the purchase is cancelled, the retainer may be refunded at designer discretion - less design charges billed against.

 

Once ordered the cabinetry goes into production and the order cannot be changed. Cabinetry will be packaged and delivered to our logistics partner in Phoenix. Cabinetry will be stored in a climate controlled warehouse up to (2) weeks at no charge. If further storage is necessary, storage fees will be responsibility of client. Please note- final 40% payment is due at time of delivery.
